Escalation Protocol!

You play as the CEO of a large self-driving car company. However, a recent firmware update has gone horribly wrong, and now your entire self-driving fleet is headed right toward your beloved HQ building! Good thing you patented highly-advanced urban self-defense structures in your free time! And with your brand-new, state-of-the-art Scale-O-Matic 9000 ray gun you can capitalise on the damage potential by growing your buildings into a true metropolis! Quick, build up a city of heavily-armed structures to defend yourself... and your shareholder profits!

Controls:

Move Camera - WASD / Arrow Keys, or move the mouse to the edges of the screen (mouse move does not work correctly in WebGL)

Upgrade / Downgrade Structures - Mouse scroll wheel

Rotate Structures - Mouse scroll wheel when placing

Recenter Camera - Spacebar

Zoom in/out - SHIFT + scroll wheel

Pause - ESC

Open 'Buy' window - B

Submitted to the GMTK Game Jam 2024 with the theme "Built to Scale". This theme is expressed through the core mechanic of scaling your buildings (which you build) in size, which also scales their damage and gun fire speed.
